Why home made, natural soap?
The next time you shop for soap, take a look at the ingredients. You might be surprised by the chemicals, detergents, preservatives and artificial additives. Most of what you think of as soap can't legally be called soap and instead are detergents. They dry out your skin and you're forced to use lotions and moisturizers to make up for it. In addition, think about all those harsh chemicals that are then released through your drain and into the environment!
The soap I make is composed of natural oils, butters and clays. I use organics, natural colorants and essential oils whenever possible. If fragrance oils and artificial colorants are used, I use the best quality available.
I highly recommend giving natural soap a try. I know your skin will be glad you did!
